Abstract Information:

I will present an overview of the Variable Young Stellar Objects Survey (VYSOS) project and a description of our computer infrastructure. VYSOS consists of a pair of robotic telescopes (5.3 inch and 20 inch aperture) located on the slopes of Mauna Loa on the Big Island of Hawaii, which are dedicated to time domain monitoring of young stars. Because VYSOS will operate with no on-site human presence, we have implemented computer infrastructure which is designed to maximize uptime and enable remote failover and recovery from computer faults while still using commercial \
