Our automatic reduction system was developed for the multi-band photometry of the gamma-ray burst (GRB) optical afterglow. The advantage in this system is the real time reduction with a data quality check by using the field zero point.
Our project is named MITSuME (Multicolor Imaging Telescopes for Survey and Monstrous Explosions), we are available three optical telescopes and one near-infrared telescope in Japan. One of MITSuME telescopes which enabled simultaneous imaging within g\', Re and Ic bands was located at Okayama Astrophysical Observatory, National Astronomical Observatory of Japan. We have preformed optical follow-up observations of the GRB afterglow with the robotic telescope system since 2004.
The effective detection and research of GRB are required immediate observation with various wavelength, real-time analysis and prompt report to the community. MITSuME Okayama telescope starts immediately pointing to the target and the simultaneous imaging after receiving a GRB alert from the Gamma-Ray Burst Coordinate Network (GCN). The processing sequence for the obtained raw image is two stages. First step is to distinguish useful quality data in real-time processing, which is judged by the field zero point. Second step consists of the dark and flat corrections, image stacking, search of GRB afterglow, photometry and output of result. Finally, we get e-mail containing an executed result and submit to the GCN Circular.
We present the development of this automatic reduction system and the review of our robotic telescope. We also report the recent results.
