Abstract Information:

February 2011 marks the tenth anniversary of autonomous operation of the
Lowell Observatory 0.8-m telescope on Anderson Mesa, near Flagstaff,
Arizona. The conversion was very nearly a software-only task and
has provided new life for an otherwise under-utilized facility.
This presentation will review the operational history of this facility
along with lessons learned that may be useful to others wanting to get the
most from their telescopes. Also to be discussed is a summary of the
observational projects supported by this mode and select results.
